This blog post, along with some others, has reminded me of the importance of action research while we are media specialists in schools. This action research can inform our own practice, but it can also impact the world of SLM through publication and presentations. Several of the exhibitions have shown how these school librarians conducted research on their practice and it has led them to be leaders in SLM.

Great job with the blog! You really put some thought into the navigation, making it very easy to get around and find all the great information. Looks great!

I need to try the blog-it has so many great features. Piggybacking off of Andy's comment, I always admire the researchers/authors who started off in the SLMC or classroom. I feel as though they truly understand my day-to-day life better than those who have strictly performed research.

I see that Woolls worked with another SLM Star, Loertcher. Also, it seems a lot of of these big names come out of Indiana. Nice work!

Benita,

Your exhibit is short, sweet, and to the point--very easy to read and navigate. Woolls's work in information literacy in the digital age seems very timely.

Good job!
